The scissor-keep is 2"x3" when closed, so just fits a small pair of scissors, and comes complete with a lobster clasp, so you can attach it to the handle of a bag, or use it as a chatelaine around your neck....the perfect accompaniment for sewing!

By Anni Downs. Who doesn't love a grand adventure once-in-a-while? This pincushion is a little larger at 5 1/2" wide with a 1 1/4" gusset, and has stitched words 'Life is a grand adventure....live it well'. The base is pieced using small squares, again using linen and sweet floral prints.

Using linen and sweet floral prints, English paper piecing completes these pincushions using 3/4" hexagons on the base of both, and on the top of one. Completed size of each pincushion - 4" wide with a 1 1/4" gusset.
